Thank you, Thomas, for helping us with the venue and creating such a beautiful menu. From your team’s excellent service and care with food and drinks to the personal messages from MG Road Eatery accommodating our special requests, everything was handled with perfection. A special thanks to Jas as well for arranging the baked cheesecake — it meant so much that our son’s wish for his favorite curry and cheesecake was fulfilled with such thoughtfulness. Your team truly went above and beyond to make both the food and the venue absolutely amazing. We are so grateful for your guidance and patience, especially with the last-minute bookings. You made us feel completely supported throughout, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend The Courtyard and will definitely be celebrating future occasions with you. Thomas, you are truly the go-to person, and we can’t thank you enough.

I recently had a fantastic dining experience exploring Indian cuisine! ???????? The place offered a wide variety of dishes, making it perfect for trying new flavors. The staff's behavior was exceptionally good, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. I was also impressed by their buffet options, which were both diverse and reasonably priced. It's definitely a great spot for anyone craving authentic Indian food without breaking the bank. I highly recommend checking it out!

Fish tikka was great, some of the mains were underwhelming, almost had the same flavor through most of the dishes, desserts were great, we tried the new menu and it was really cool to see a western twist on indian desserts!

Loved our visit to MG Road Eatery! Comfy booths, friendly service, and heaps of menu options. We shared the chilli chicken and onion bhaji, both delicious. Mains had real depth of flavour the chefs sure know their craft. The place had a lovely family buzz. Definitely going on our list of favourites!

Can’t rate this place highly enough!! Honestly the best Indian food I’ve had in years! So authentic, the place is classy, warm and clean, the staff give supreme service as if you are fine dining. I’m honestly shook at how great this place is for the price. Meat was beautiful and tender. Keto friendly options too!

Ah, the MG Road Eatery—a new addition to the Christchurch dining scene! Walking into this modern restaurant on 467 Colombo Street in Sydenham, I couldn't help but feel excited about trying something new. Have been back to this Eatery a number of times now ,and love the buffet . The food, however, left me with mixed feelings. While it was okay, I couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't quite hitting the mark for the price. And the service—well, let's just say it was on "island time." But hey, they're newly opened, so I guess they're still working out the kinks. Having tried my fair share of Indian restaurants in Christchurch, I couldn't help but compare. MG Road Eatery has some potential, but they've got some competition in the city. Here's hoping they'll find their groove soon and live up to the vibrant Indian dining scene in Christchurch! The bakery looked very nice, but have not tried it.
